WMS is that perfect mix of rigor and flexibility. Their teachers are knowledgeable and approachable. My daughter is growing into her instrument with each lesson

I love Williamsburg Music Studio. I love that my mom works there. I love the fact that I can be introduced to different instruments and different genres of music. I love seeing and hearing different people coming in for music. I loved playing in and watching the recital. I love how patient but also serious in making me learn my Guitar notes Scott is. I loved Musical Theater. Because of my experience in Beauty and the Beast summer camp and seeing my sister perform in the Peter pan Musical theater summer camp I decided to pursue learning more about musical theater and I am now in a program specifically for Musical Theater.

I’ve had so much fun! I had taken guitar classes in the past but never stuck with them and forgot everything. Thanks to the teacher at Williamsburg Music Studio, I was playing right away. He makes group lessons really fun and comfortable. Plus, he is an experienced teacher who instantly provides feedback and corrects students. There really is a difference between this class and others I’ve taken elsewhere.

I like my teacher because she picks good songs to play. But not easy songs.

My daughter has continued her piano seamlessly (now remotely) with Williamsburg Music Studio and she is progressing and learning and they will now be hosting their second virtual recital in December. The program was even able to start my 4 year old on piano – remotely. Melanie and the program are fabulous. I highly recommend it!!!

Although we’re not from the Williamsburg area, the hour drive from home is so worth it. Since then, he’s learned so much and sounds wonderful. We never imagined he would get this far and sing so beautifully. Thanks for your support!

Sonya is a thoughtful, insightful, and committed piano teacher. We so appreciate her patience and encouragement for our daughter’s musical education. She’s not afraid to think out of the box and let our daughter’s creativity thrive.

I have learned so much and appreciate having a teacher who is not only patient and knowledgeable, but who can work with me when I want explore my own guitar ideas.  And he makes the lessons fun!

I’ve had such a great experience at Williamsburg Music Studio. Even during the pandemic I was able to get my lessons and this gave me something to do. So far I’ve been working on paradiddles and flams on the full drum set. I like Matt’s way of teaching because he takes one specific rudiment and brings it around the drum set so I get a feel for the entire kit. I want to say thank you to WMS for teaching me how to play the drums. They are so nice and send me birthday cards every year! Incredible!

I have been taking piano lessons with Melanie for 5 years. I had no music lessons as a kid. These lessons have been a wonderful journey, and a great way to keep my adult brain thinking. We started with the very basics and we are now learning Bach pieces. It has been such a rewarding experience, but also hard! Melanie is an excellent teacher. Her knowledge is outstanding. She is so kind and very patient. The virtual lessons have been going really well. If you are an adult that has always wanted to take piano lessons – reward yourself and sign up.
